What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a course of additional driving lessons designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to give newly qualified drivers more experience in what they have just learned and introduce some new topics that cannot be covered whilst learning.

DRM follow the Pass Plus curriculum by offering 6 training sessions (usually 1hr in length) covering the following areas:

  • Town Driving
  • All Weather Driving
  • Out of Town Driving
  • Night Driving
  • Dual Carriageway Driving
  • Motorway Driving

Pass Plus can be taken at any time, but it is mainly aimed at new drivers. There is no further test to take – when your instructor is satisfied with your performance you receive a certificate from the DSA.
