Driving Instructor Training

Passing the driving test is a milestone in many people’s lives – a day they never forget.  As a driving instructor you will coach the person to that day and have a great sense of achievement when they pass.  DRM driving instructors have been successfully helping pupils pass their test since 1992.

Training to become a driving instructor offers you a career where you can be your own boss, have the flexibility to plan your diary around your family commitments, be rewarded regularly celebrating driving test passes with your pupils and have the satisfaction of knowing you have taught them a skill for life.

Our training course is a combination of home study and practical 1 to 1 in car training.  The training options are an intensive course, standard course and pay as you train course to suit your needs depending on availability and how quickly you wish to qualify.

DRM Driver Training have been providing driving instructor training since 1994 in Glasgow, Paisley, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire and Central Scotland.

We provide you with a full course including all the study material and 1to 1 in car training required to pass the Driving Standards Agency exams to qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor.

On becoming a driving instructor you have the option of joining our local driving school, receiving back up and support from the staff with many years of experience in the industry, or setting up independently.
