DRM Instructor Training Costs
As you will see on the DRM Training programme page, DRM provide a comprehensive course covering all the theory and 1 to 1 in-car training required for the 3 parts of the ADI test and the basis of your knowledge for your work as a driving instructor.
There are 3 payment options for the DRM Instructor Training Course to suit your availability and finances;
Standard Instructor Training Course
Part time home study which is ideal for people who are employed or not working and have commitments that prevent them studying full time. It enables you to achieve the approved driving instructor qualification before changing your employment or other commitments.
You study at your own pace, with support available from the DRM instructor training team whenever you require. This course will take approximately 6 to 9 months.
There are two payment options – full payment at the start of the course or staged payment at the start of each part of the course.

Fast Track Instructor Training Course
Full time study completing the course in as short a time as possible (approximately 16 weeks, determined by test dates provided by the DSA).
A weekly timetable is set up detailing the theory training and practical training to be completed. The end of module tests are taken at the DRM centre.

Pay as You Train Course
Part time home study course with regular weekly or monthly payments. As your weekly or monthly payments build up in your training fund, trigger amounts will be reached and the next module of the course materials/training will be supplied.
The length of time to complete the course is determined by your payments, rather than your study rate. Lump sums can be paid into you training fund at any time.
