Your DRM instructor will guide you through the training formula to help you learn the theory, hazard perception and practical driving at a pace that suits you, building your confidence as you go.

The Theory Test

Includes the Hazard Perception Test. The DRM Training Pack* includes the highway code, a theory CD and tips on how to do the hazard perception, for you to work with at home to learn all you need to know to pass this test.

  • Study at home in your own time and at your own speed.
  • Your DRM instructor will help you with any questions you have.
  • Mock tests to monitor the progress of your learning.

Training from driving tutorials

Why spend valuable in-car practice time learning basic driving theory? With the DRM DVD you can:

  • Relax in the comfort of your own home and learn how to drive, in stages, BEFORE each in-car lesson.
  • Prepare more effectively for the in-car practice – you know what you are about to do , so your less worried about doing it.
  • In lessons spend less time sitting at the side of the road for explanations and more time driving.
  • Watch the tutorials again after the in-car lesson and refresh your memory of what you have done.

In-car Practise

In some driving lessons you can spend a lot of your time in the car sitting at the side of the road being taught the theory. Using the DRM Training Formula reduces this time.

You will receive a Show Me Tell Me study sheet, which your instructor will then practise with you in the car.

Appointment card/progress chart

These allow you to monitor your progress and not forget a lesson. Regular frequent lessons are the best way to prepare for the driving test.
