Learning to Drive Syllabus
Key skills you need to drive safely

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has produced a drivers record which lists 24 key skills you need to drive safely, based on the official learning to drive syllabus. These skills are listed below.

DRM Driver Training provide each pupil with a progress chart which breaks down these key skills into manageable chunks to be learned in a structured way with your instructor. Taking the progress chart to each lesson and getting your instructor to complete it at the end of the lesson allows you to monitor your progress, know where you are in your training, what you have learned new and what you practised in each lesson.
