Which lesson or course is correct for you?
Beginners First hour: Meet your instructor, find out all about the DRM Training Formula and how it will help you. Have your first chance to drive the car.
Afterwards watch the DVD at home before the second hour: See how much more driving practice you get having learned the theory from the DVD.
Previous Drivers First Hour: Many people, who have taken lessons previously or who have sat one or more driving tests, book complete courses with driving schools, without knowing whether they will need the full course or not. This is usually a waste of money.
At DRM Driver Training we recommend you take an assessment drive first so that your instructor can complete the assessment form and then advise you on how many lessons you will need, thus keeping the cost to you to a minimum. After your assessment drive, you can arrange your training with your instructor either with hourly lessons or prepaid block bookings.
Hourly Lessons are the traditional way to learn to drive and suits many people. You can improve on this and you can increase the speed of your learning by extending the lessons to 11/2 or 2 hours. Alternatively, you may prefer to take 2 or 3 lessons of 1, 11/2 or 2 hours each week.
Whichever you choose, you will find you will progress at more than double the speed by taking 2 or more hours per week.
Courses are one of the best ways of learning to drive. By making the commitment to take a fixed number of lessons each week, you will make the best progress possible. DRM Instructors offer 1, 3, & 6 week courses for those who have passed their theory test and 9 and 12 week courses for new learners.
NB, there can be a 6+ week wait between booking your driving test and your test date. You cannot book your driving test until you have passed your theory test.
