On this page you will find the prices of driving lessons, intensive driving courses, semi intensive courses, one week courses, block booking discounts, assessment drives and other money saving offers available from your local friendly DRM driving instructor.

This allows you to meet your DRM Instructor who can explain the benefits of the DRM training formula to you. You will be given your first in-car lesson and then can discuss with your instructor which lessons or course would best suit your needs.

Hourly/Weekly Lessons
This is the traditional way to learn to drive and suits many people. It can be improved upon and you can increase the speed of your learning by extending the lessons to 1.5 or 2 hours each time. Whichever you choose, you will find you will progress at more than double the speed by taking 2 or more lessons per week. (Your DRM Instructor will ensure your lessons are not too long for your learning span and will advise you accordingly.)

All Lessons include Theory & Hazard Perception Test training.
All driving lessons include the use of the DRM Training Pack, which contains the DRM DVD, the current study books or CD-ROM for the theory and hazard perception test, and the Highway Code. A £25.00 part-refundable deposit is held during the loan of these items. Your instructor will also give you an appointment record and progress chart.
Semi-Intensive Courses
This is possibly the best way to learn to drive: you achieve a faster rate of learning because you are getting more intensive training. There is plenty of time during the week to prepare for your next in car lesson by watching the appropriate section of the DVD. You also have time to study for the theory test, which you should aim to sit within the first 2 to 3 weeks so that the driving test can be booked for the end of the course.
All course include one attempt at the theory test and practical driving test and study materials. No refunds on study packs included with courses.
30 hours of training for only £705
This course can be taken over 8, 10 or 12 weeks.
Weekly Payments are available for these courses
Deposit £305 followed by five payments of £80
If you hold a valid theory pass certificate deduct £20 from the above price.
NB there is normally 5 - 6 week wait between the booking of your practical test and your driving test date. We cannot book your driving test until you have passed your theory test.
If You Have Driven Before
Many people, who have taken lessons previously or who have sat one or more driving tests, book a complete course with driving schools, without knowing whether they will need the full course or not.
This is usually a waste of money.
At DRM Driver Training we recommend you take an assessment drive first so that your instructor can advise you on how many lessons you will need, thus keeping the cost to you to a minimum.
Assessment Drive
Before you decide which course or how many lessons to buy, let our instructor assess your driving and theory knowledge, see how good you are and then put together a personalised training package to bring you up to the required standard.
£32 for 1.5 hours
After your assessment drive, you can arrange your training either as hourly lessons, a block booking or a short intensive course.
Short Courses - for pupils with some driving experience.
These courses consist of 2 hourly lessons with the last 2 hours of the course being for your driving test. All course include one attempt at the theory test and practical driving test and study materials. No refunds on study packs included with courses.

Payment Methods
You can choose from the following easy ways of paying your instructor for your lessons:
If you pay for them individually, you settle them with your instructor by cash or cheque (made out to the instructor).
If you wish to buy a course or a block of lessons, then you pre-pay by cash, by the credit or debit cards shown below, or cheque to the 'DRM Client Account', which is an account operated by the DRM Driver Training Centre on behalf of DRM Instructors, independent from the instructor's business and where your funds remain till after your lesson or lessons have been delivered and they are then claimed by and paid to your Instructor
'Pay as you Train' (0% APR) also available on 9 and 12 week courses.
The DRM Instructor's Money Back Guarantee
If you wish to have any of the money in your Client Account returned to you, once you have passed your test with your DRM instructor, write to your DRM instructor and he/she will refund the balance to you by cheque (or credit card) immediately. (This request is needed in writing to safeguard your money).
Payments for special offers are not refundable. Course Booking Deposits will not be refunded on cancellation of the course. One week course fees will not be refunded if the course is cancelled less than 14 days before the start date of the course.
Speed of Learning
Important** The rate at which different people learn can vary considerably. Courses offered by DRM Instructors are designed for people, who pick up the practical skills without difficulty, to achieve the required standard at the end of the course. However, should an individual take longer to master any part of the course, this may require extra training. If you are falling behind with your progress, your instructor will discuss this with you in good time. It is therefore possible that taking a course on its own, may not give you enough practise to achieve the standard required to pass the test.
Notice
All DRM Driving Instructors are Self Employed and are licensed to use the DRM Driver Training Formula. Your contract is with your driving instructor who is solely responsible for delivering your training and any other services offered. For the avoidance of doubt, neither DRM Driver Training nor the Centre Owner are responsible for the actions or omissions of your DRM Driving Instructor and shall be under no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury or expense, arising directly or indirectly from any such actions or omissions of your DRM Driving Instructor.
Each DRM Driver Training Centre is an independent business operating under a franchise from DRM Driver Training.
Each DRM Centre operates an Instructor's Client Account at the request of and on behalf of its Franchised Driving Instructors, who will issue you with a DRM Client Account receipt for each prepayment you make. The DRM Money back guarantee is offered by the DRM Instructor not by DRM Driver Training. To obtain your refund, you should send a letter of request, with a copy of your DRM Client Account receipt, to your DRM Instructor.
By accepting your first driving lesson, you thereby accept these Terms of Business and your contract being with your DRM Instructor.
