At DRM Driver Training you are introduced to the best trained team of instructors now teaching in your area. Friendly people, specially selected and carefully trained to teach the unique DRM Training Formula

Your DRM Instructor will guide you through your Theory and Hazard Perception training and, in the car, will build your confidence at a pace that suits you.

The Eyesight Test

Your DRM instructor will check your provisional licence and your eyesight using the DSA testing method at the start of your first lesson.

The New Theory Test

This is now in two parts:

The Theory Test

& The Hazard Perception Test

Your DRM Instructor will provide you with the DRM Training Pack containing books, DVDs and/or CD ROM's for you to work with at home to learn all you need to know to pass these 2 parts of the test.

• Study at home in your own time and at your own speed.
• Your DRM Instructor will help and guide you with your learning.
• All the Theory test questions to practise.
• Hazard perception clips to practise.

Training From The DRM DVD

Why spend valuable in car practice time learning basic driving theory? With the DRM DVD you can:-

• Relax in the comfort of your home and learn how to drive, in stages, BEFORE each in car lesson.
• Prepare more effectively for the in car practice - you know what you are about to do, so you're less apprehensive about doing it.
• Watch the DVD again after the in car lesson and develop a deeper understanding.
• Reduce the number of in car lessons you will need by up to 30%.

There are also many useful books published by the Driving Standards Agency to help learners achieve the skills they need. Your DRM driving instructor can supply these books to you from stocks held at the Centre. In Car Practice

In traditional driving lessons you can spend almost a third of your time in the car sitting at the side of the road being taught the theory. By using the DRM Training Formula this does not happen.

Continual Professional Development

The Driving Standards Agency and European Legislation continually upgrade and change the driving test (there are now 5 sections in 2 parts of the test).

DRM operate a programme of Continual Research and Development to ensure their training materials and methods keep abreast of all changes in the driving test.

DRM also hold regular Continual Personal Development (CPD) meetings with their driving instructors to ensure their knowledge and instructional skills are continually updated.

	For Learners with physical disabilities, DRM have automatic cars with some adaptions. DRM also have some instructors experienced in helping those with hearing difficulties.
