Some practical driving tests may be cancelled during the winter weather as the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) does not conduct practical driving tests in adverse weather conditions, e.g. when roads are icy or there is snow. This is for the safety of the person taking the test and the examiner.
If the DSA does cancel your test they will automatically rearrange the test for another date at no further cost to you.
If there is snow or ice in your local area on the day of your test follow the advice given on your appointment email or letter. If your test is in the morning call as early as possible on the day of your test. The test centre will not be able to give you any information the day before your test. If your test is in the afternoon call later in the morning. If you do not get an answer from the test centre you must arrive at the test centre at your allocated time.
